Noise is history. The quickest cars on Earth are electric and nearly silent — and silence is more intimidating than any exhaust. UMBRA is the first rally built on that fact: electric hypercars only, one long adventurous drive across Europe.
Dozens of hypercars in a city square. Total silence. A countdown. Then the whole grid pulls away in one wave — without a sound. In an eclipse, the moment the light fully disappears is called totality. Ours is the moment the noise does.

The Path of Totality
Eclipse chasers cross countries to stand in the umbra's path. So do we: one route from start city to finish city — mountain passes, coast roads, border crossings. Untimed, unscored, under normal traffic law.
No fake noise
No speakers, no artificial soundtracks, no tire-smoke theatre. A silent grid of hypercars pulling away in one wave is the whole show.
Convoy discipline
Telemetry rides in every car. There is nothing to win by driving fast — and driving like there is gets you sent home.
Apply ≠ enter
Owners apply, cars are verified, and a ballot decides the grid — like a major marathon. Selection is not guaranteed.
Evenings on the grid
Charging becomes the campfire: the grid gathers in each stop city while the cars give a static show no engine note could improve.
The road ahead
Future editions add knock-out brackets, gymkhana duels and ghost runs — behind barriers, on closed terrain. Points will never touch a public road.
