Privacy statement

UMBRA ("we") is the controller for personal data collected on this site. We collect as little as the event allows, and we don't sell or share it for advertising. Questions or requests: apply@umbrarally.com.

What we collect, and why

• Ballot applications — name, email, country, car, proof-of-ownership reference and the optional fields you choose to add (phone, co-driver, Instagram, photo link). Used solely to verify eligibility and run the ballot for Edition One. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps at your request (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
• Route-reveal list — your email address, used to send edition announcements. Legal basis: consent (art. 6(1)(a)). Every email includes an unsubscribe option; unsubscribing deletes you from the list.

Storage and retention

Submissions are delivered to us by email through our processor (Resend, EU-compliant processing agreement) and are not stored in a database on this site. Application data is kept until the ballot and edition administration for Edition One is complete, then deleted. List subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Email apply@umbrarally.com; we respond within 30 days. You can lodge a complaint with the Dutch DPA (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Cookies

This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies and runs no third-party analytics.
